Active with the Project Management Institute, Benjamin Woodburn is a Lincoln, Nebraska IT manager who develops projects focused on the international and domestic financial markets. In one representative engagement, Mr. Woodburn oversaw the migration of over 2,000 internal applications to a new system from a legacy platform. This required the use of new coding language and performing complete rewrites on a full range of applications. In another project, he oversaw the creation of financial reporting and ACH and wire processing applications for the initial currency.com platform.
Mr. Woodburn graduated from Southeast Community College with a degree in computer information systems. He earned his BBA from York University, and went on to complete his MBA at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a focus on international business and finance. Benjamin Woodburn enjoys working with his dogs Shiloh and Skye in his free time, training them in areas such as tracking, agility, scent, and obedience.
